Subject: HSUTRLDH-1764
I am taking 'a shot in the dark'.  I was given this monitor today as a
birthday present, yet, there was no info on it.  All I know to this
point, from the info I have been able to gather on the Internet, and the
info on the back of the monitor are:

1. FCC ID: HSUTRLDH-1764
2. Model: PBC-1764
3. Manufacturer: Pixie
4. Dot Pitch: .28
5. (Band Width)Mhz: 85
6. Hor. Sync: 30-68
7. Vert. Sync: 47-120
8. Pixels: 1143 x 857

The problem I am still having is this:

1. pixie.com must have a bad page because, I cannot get past the main
page for the company.

2. A. I have
        a. ATI XPERT 98 video card 1600x1200
        b. Win98 OS 1024x768
        c. Monitor 1143x857
    B. I can't
        a. change the pixels from 640x480

Any ideas?

Christopher

I did get thru to pixie, but lost the url.
Pixie's support policy is effectively: (paraphrasing)
If it's in warranty, we'll replace it.
If it's out of warranty you're screwed.
If you have a question, you're screwed.

I have not tried this number from the datasheet.
800 440-7211 ext. 131.

This is the .inf file that seems to include your monitor.

Sounds similar to what I experienced when I changed video cards last
fall.  I wrote it off to the fact that I was using a fixed freq card &
monitor.  As best I recall, the solution goes something like:

1.  In Win98 Hardware Mangler, change your monitor designation to
"Standard SVGA 1024X768" and your video card to "Plain Vanilla VGA
640X480" (or something like that).

2.  UNINSTALL your existing monitor and video card from the hardware
listings.

3.  Re-boot into "Safe Mode".  I think you can get there by mashing
the "F8" key during boot-up.

4.  Re-open Hardware Mangler and tell it you've installed new goodies.
Identify your video card & tell it where to find the drivers.

5.  Re-boot into regular Win98.  Set the monitor resolution to
something decent.

Unless this monitor has a different sync arrangement, it appears to
have the specs for a normal SVGA monitor & should work fine.

Subject: Cable system recommendation?
Hi!

I have to wire my new office and so I am looking for a modular system to do
that.

Necessary outlets:

- 220V
- Cat5e Network
- ISDN
- Analogue phone (RJ11)
- S-Video
- Cinch Audio
- "Klinke" Audio (sorry, do not know the English term, like the headphone
plug)
- USB
- Serial
- Parallel

I have seen AMP ACOplus, but it does not seem to feature much of the above.

Quality precedes price, but a good quote is appreciated.

Thank you for your recommendations.

Martin

Hello! Can anybody help me?

I am looking for a PIC12C508 program that is capable of communicating
with
TSA5511 ( PLL from Phillips).
All the PIC12C508 should do is send necessary data for setting the
frequency (through
I2C Bus)
and then entering Sleep mode. Thanks for any advice.

Might be able to help. I have some RS-232 routines that you could probably
adapt. What's the communications protocol?
